Przeglad 'Przeglad Motorowodny’ exists on Polish market for 9 years. It is the only magazine in this country utterly devoted to motor- and powerboats. Naturally, it is aimed at enthusiasts. But they are not such a small group as one could probably think. Since 1997 Polish Motorboat and Waterski Association has issued 32,000 new licenses. Poland indeed is a significant part of European branch market.

Being the most influential source of information on motorboat sports and leisure, we realize that our articles are the very basis of Polish motorboat enthusiasts’ opinions and judgments. These lead to decisions they make concerning buying a new boat. We feel responsible for that and are very particular about objectivity and accuracy. Because of that we stay in close contact with boat importers, dealers and producers in Poland and abroad. With our editorial staff consisting of professionals you can expect to be provided with the most ultimate information possible.

'Przeglad Motorowodny' editor-in-chief, Mr. Dariusz Kazanecki, is an experienced sportsman (two-time Polish champion in JET class) and journalist ('Morze', 'Auto Swiat', 'Playboy', 'Zycie Warszawy'). He has also been working as Polish Motorboat and Waterski Association spokesman. Although he is undoubtedly a creative brain behind our magazine, there is also a number of other professionals in our editorial staff. Some of them live abroad, so we are always up-to-date with what is going on in just any part of our globe. In our columns you can also find articles by professional diving, waterski and wakeboard instructors who share their secrets with our readers.

Actually, there is much more to find in ‘Przeglad Motorowodny’ than just motorboats. Taking our readers’ interests into consideration, we strive to provide them with attractive materials on many different subjects. These are mostly connected with lifestyle: aircrafts, limousines, watches, perfumes, hotels, restaurants and recent cultural events. What can 200 KM do on water? Is it possible to sail from Warsaw to the seaside? What is a rib? And when does the Motorboat Picnic take place? Good questions! So remember: 4-5 June (Saturday, Sunday), the Zegrzyński Reservoir by the Hotel 500, Zegrze Południowe! This is where you are going to discover the charm of motorboat sports!

At the first weekend of June, we are going to answer all the questions! We are getting rid of limitations and releasing the power! There is going to be a lot going on at the Motorboat Picnic – the greatest fair of boats on water in Poland! The most expensive units, the latest technologies, extreme speed and acrobatic elements – great fun on water. Expect a wide offer of Polish and foreign shipyards, producers of water scooters, motors, accessories and equipment – everything you need to have a good rest on sky-blue water. The programme of the event is very tight: premiere presentations of equipment, presentations of boats on water, meetings with producers and famous fans of motorboat sports, rescue shows by WOPR (Voluntary Water Emergency Service) and a lot of other surprises.

We are taking the boats from stuffy trade fair halls and placing them on water. The 4th edition of the Motorboat Picnic is the only chance to check out the capabilities of the motorboat equipment in its natural environment. After the official presentations, each participant will be able to arrange with a producer/importer to test the equipment personally.
Motorboat sports are becoming more and more popular in Poland. Motor yachts and water scooters have settled on our beaches and they have become a popular leisure activity. They are associated with holidays and relaxation, arousing positive emotions. Motorboats provide a good rest and escape from daily duties. We can have fun safely and ecologically. We guarantee that you are going to have unforgettable moments on water, land and in the air!
